Horizontal baler adopts a horizontal compression method. It features a large feed opening, strong compression force, and continuous operation. Horizontal baler machines can handle a variety of loose solid waste and packaging materials. They are an effective solution for industrial and large-scale waste management.
Mingjie horizontal balers can be divided into Semi Automatic Horizontal Baler and Fully Automatic Horizontal Baler according to the degree of automation of the machine.
The horizontal baler’s workflow is highly automated, with a long, horizontal compression chamber as its core component. The detailed process is as follows:
01. Feeding Phase
Waste is automatically and continuously fed into the horizontal baler’s compression chamber via a conveyor belt, screw feeder, or hopper.
02. Compression Phase
After feeding, the control system activates the hydraulic system. This drives the main compression cylinder to push the compression push plate, forcing the material within the compression chamber with high pressure. This forces the waste toward the other end of the compression chamber, compressing it into an extremely compact block. During the compression process, air trapped in the material is expelled, significantly reducing its volume.
03. Bundling Phase
When the bale reaches the desired size, the main ram maintains pressure. At this point, the fully automatic bundling system begins. The bundling head moves along a pre-set track at the top of the compression chamber. It wraps several turns of high-strength strapping tape along the length of the bale and secures it securely.
04. Ejecting Phase
After bundling is complete, the discharge door at the end of the compression chamber opens upward. The main pressing head starts again and pushes the packaged material smoothly out of the machine. The packaged bales will fall onto the conveyor platform or stacking rack.
05. Reset
The main ram retracts, and the discharge door closes. The vertical baler machine is ready to begin the next fully automatic cycle.
